The death toll from twin blasts in eastern Afghanistan on Friday rose to 22, local officials said.
The blasts hit a local mosque in Nangarhar province during Friday prayers at around 2 p.m. (0930GMT).
Provincial Governor Ataullah Hogyani confirmed the death toll to Anadolu Agency fearing that it may rise.
More than 50 injured people were transferred to health facilities in Jaw Dara area of Haska Meyna district of the province.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blasts.
Afghanistan has witnessed intense conflict for the last 18 years following U.S. invasion.
