The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James went down in history once again, now becoming the oldest NBA player to record three straight triple-doubles.

On Wednesday, James produced 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to contribute Lakers’ away win over Chicago Bulls 118-112 at United Center.

“James is the oldest player in NBA History to record 3-straight TRIPLE-DOUBLES (34 years, 310 days old)!,” NBA said on Twitter on Wednesday.

“Previous was Jason Kidd [a 2011 NBA champion and considered as great point guards in history] (Jan. 4, 2008 / 34 years, 291 days old),” it added.

The 10-time NBA All-Star, Kidd helped the US basketball team win two Olympic gold medals in Sydney 2000 and Beijing 2008.

Over his third consecutive triple-double in NBA, James was also honored by the Western Conference franchise.

“First Laker with three straight triple-doubles in 32 years. All hail the King,” Lakers said on Twitter.

This season James has averaged 26.1 points, 11.1 assists and 8.3 rebounds.

Lakers were beaten by their city rivals Los Angeles Clippers 112-102 in NBA’s season opener on Oct. 23 but managed to recover fast, getting their sixth straight victory.
