Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to visit Qatar on Monday to attend the 5th meeting of Turkey-Qatar High Strategic Committee, an official statement said on Sunday.
The meeting will be jointly presided over by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, according to a statement from Turkey’s Directorate of Communications.
The meeting will discuss the opportunities to further develop cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and exchange views on regional and international issues.
A number of agreements are expected to be signed between the two countries during the meeting. Also, Erdogan is expected to visit the Qatar-Turkey Combined Joint Force Command.
The 4th meeting of Turkey-Qatar High Strategic Committee was held in Istanbul in Nov. 2018.
