Turkish security forces on Tuesday seized nearly 28,000 illicit pills in southeastern province of Adana, security sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, the anti-narcotics team of police conducted an operation against illicit drug smuggling in Seyhan district, said a source who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Some 346 grams (12.20 ounces) of marijuana were also confiscated during the bust.
Three suspects were arrested for drug smuggling.
