When the heinous plans of the PKK/YPG to target Christians in Syria with missile platforms in churches failed, the terror group moved on to Plan B and established a brigade consisting of Assyrians.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which is made up of YPG fighters, on Saturday announced that Christian fighters will now oversee security in the Khabour River region of northern Syria’s Tal Tamr in a bid to put Assyrians in the crosshairs and thus, pin their deaths on Turkey and the Syrian National Army.

As the YPG announced its plans, the U.S. media also kicked into gear and launched yet another smear campaign against Turkey, this time around accusing Ankara of conducting an ethnic cleansing against Christians.

“At this very moment, 150,000 Christians in Northeast Syria face extinction or exile due to savage attacks by Turkey’s President Erdogan,” CBN news claimed on Saturday, the same day the SDF made its announcement.

Turkey on Oct. 9 launched Operation Peace Spring to eliminate YPG/PKK terrorists from northern Syria east of the Euphrates River in order to secure Turkey’s borders, aid in the safe return of Syrian refugees, and ensure Syria’s territorial integrity.

On Oct. 22, Turkey reached an agreement with Russia to force YPG/PKK terrorists to withdraw from the planned terror-free zone with their weapons.
