A senior terrorist “commander” of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has been neutralized in an operation by the Turkish intelligence, security sources said Thursday.

Beraat Afşin, code-named Medya Agit and active in Iraq’s Sinjar region, was neutralized on Nov.19.

She was on the “red” category on Turkey’s most wanted list.

The wanted list is divided into five color-coded categories, with red as the most wanted, followed by blue, green, orange and gray.
